Lauryn grew up in Vancouver, Canada and moved to New York in 2021 to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in their 2 year conservatory program.
Growing up, she played every sport from Soccer to Basketball to Softball to Volleyball before finally landing on Track and Field, and more specifically Javelin. After throwing Javelin for 9 years, competing Nationally 4x, and placing 3rd overall in Canada, retired in pursuit of her true passion.
The arts had always called to Lauryn, she had studied Guitar, Bass, Piano and Vocal arts, but in 2018 she found her love for Acting. After 2 years of Vancouver community and High-School theatre; Lauryn auditioned for and was accepted to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
She proudly graduated from AADA with an AOS degree in April 2023. Following this, she was selected for the advanced training New York company at AADA and graduated with an advanced training certificate in February 2024. In May, she signed with Deirdre McCarthy at Webb Sweeney Murphy Talent.
